Techweek 2021

Event Details

Techweek is an open platform for events run by individuals and organisations all across New Zealand. Work with our team and be part of Techweek to showcase New Zealand tech and innovation on a global scale.

Responding positively to the COVID-19 pandemic, Techweek2020 ran all events digitally. Techweek2021 will be a mix of live, virtual and hybrid events.

Event submissions are open for Techweek2021. Techweek offers a platform to suit a wide range of event types and scales, with formats including face-to-face, digital and hybrid events.

We can accommodate anything from small meet-ups, hackathons, and workshops, as well as networking events and major conferences. If you have a great tech idea you want to showcase, now is your chance.

Due to the COVID-19 climate last year, Techweek2020 decided to move to a full digital festival. And while there is no denying that we missed the face-to-face contact, the digital platform was a huge success. Following on from the learnings of 2020 (and moving with the times), this year Techweek will be a mix of face-to-face, digital and hybrid events. If you are planning on hosting a face-to-face event, as a contingency, perhaps it is worth considering making this hybrid. Click here to find out more about what a hybrid event is and how you can successfully host one.

Rest assured, the Techweek show will go on! Rain, hail or COVID-19 Alert Level. (We will go 100 percent digital if we need to).
