Epicor beefs up exec suite with key appointment

Epicor Software Corporation has appointed industry veteran Sabby Gill as executive vice president overseeing operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC)…

Gill takes responsibility for sales, professional services, and field marketing and is based at the Company’s regional headquarters for EMEA in the United Kingdom and reports directly to Epicor president and CEO Joe Cowan.

“Sabby brings new perspectives and a results-driven approach to growing businesses across multiple geographies, effecting positive change through inspired leadership,” said Cowan. “His strong focus on customers and depth of experience leading international operations, direct and channel sales, professional services and field marketing for global technology companies will be an advantage in this strategic role, as we look to expand our market share in APAC and EMEA.”

Gill brings more than 20 years of management and industry experience to the company, demonstrated success in managing and improving the customer experience, growing sales, increasing market share and aligning regional organisations for success at technology companies throughout his career. His primary focus will be on driving profitable growth and market expansion for Epicor enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions in the EMEA and APAC regions.

Gill joins Epicor from International Gaming Technology (IGT), where, as SVP international sales, he was responsible for increased sales and market share in Latin America, EMEA and APAC. He has held executive management roles with a number of leading technology companies including HP, CA Technologies, Oracle, PeopleSoft, and Digital Equipment Company.
