Cloud ERP vendor investing in Pacific channel development…
Invests NetSuite has appointed Graeme Burt (pictured) as channel sales director, Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). Based in Sydney, Burt is responsible for establishing best practices and providing strategic and operational leadership for NetSuite’s channel team across this region. Burt will manage NetSuite’s partner ecosystem across three sub-regions: Australia/New Zealand, Asia and Japan.
Burt brings more than 25 years of strategic sales experience across cloud and other technology solutions at a number of high-tech companies in Australia. Prior to joining NetSuite, he was country manager of Enterprise Solutions at BMC Software, with previous roles including commercial sales director at Salesforce.com; commercial and channel director at Oracle; and sales manager, Small Enterprise at SAP.
“Our growing partner base continues to move away from outdated on-premise solutions and embrace NetSuite’s modern cloud-based business management suite,” Burt said, noting the opportunities for resellers providing online solutions.
Lee Thompson, senior vice president and GM, Asia Pacific and Japan at NetSuite, said the company is investing heavily in the channel in APJ to better support partners in the region.
Launched in 2002, the NetSuite Solution Provider Program is the industry’s first cloud channel partner programme. Designed to help solution providers transform business models to work with the NetSuite cloud, itram offers services which range from business planning, sales, marketing and professional services enablement, to training and education.
