Storage King operates more than 200 self-storage locations across company-owned, investor-owned and franchised structures. A systems audit found its mix of on-premise and cloud accounting tools lacked the streamlined transactions and consolidations a business of that complexity needed.
Storage King chose Sage Intacct largely for its integration with Storeman, the business management system used across its network, with Sage partner Forpoint Solutions leading the transition and configuring it to work well out of the box.
Reporting time has fallen by around 30% since go-live, with real-time data access, reduced manual admin and stronger multi-currency and multi-entity handling freeing the finance team to spend more time on analysis than data-wrangling.
