ICT, the New Zealand maker of building automation, access control and intrusion detection systems, had outgrown its legacy, custom-built ERP system and needed a platform it could run internationally without custom development every time the business changed.
“ICT needed an ERP system that was internationally scalable and would support global growth from a single globally accessible platform,” says CFO Garry Bishop. Realtech deployed SAP S/4HANA Cloud public edition, starting in New Zealand before rolling the platform out to Australia, the UK and Canada.
“We provided a comprehensive plan based on facts, not just assumptions, outlining all steps needed for successful deployment,” says Andrew Spicer, Managing Director at Realtech – an approach that left ICT able to manage the platform itself once live.
