McFall Fuel’s 2017 merger with Rural Fuel doubled the complexity of the business overnight – 8,500 new customers, 55,000 customer data lines and a fleet that grew from 40-50 trucks to more than 100, with the two companies running completely different systems.
Verde Group carried out extensive custom development within McFall Fuel’s existing MYOB Greentree system to standardise processes across the merged entity, and added Greentree eDocs to eliminate paper invoicing and consolidate transactions into monthly customer invoices.
“Their knowledge of our business has again proven invaluable through this exercise,” says Mandy Joe, Management Accountant at McFall Fuel. “We’ve discovered that there is no such thing as ‘no’ when it comes to our system” – a shift that eliminated roughly 98% of paper invoicing company-wide.
