Active Safety, a New Zealand-owned supplier of protective clothing and safety products stocking more than 10,000 lines across B2B and B2C channels, was held back by an ageing, non-cloud system that made it hard to grow the business at the pace it wanted.
After researching several vendors against a clear set of criteria, managing director Matt Cutler and the team chose NetSuite, implemented by CloudZone One, largely because it covered accounting, ecommerce, CRM, professional services automation and HR in a single cloud platform. Moving from an on-premise system to the cloud meant taking what Cutler describes as “a few leaps of faith” around data control, but the business found the risk paid off once live.
NetSuite now manages Active Safety’s inventory and sales operations more efficiently, with the CRM giving greater control over the sales process – Cutler counts the move as one of the best technology decisions the business has made.
