Aluminium Industries, the Melbourne aluminium and shower screen manufacturer, outgrew QuickBooks after acquiring fellow manufacturer Pivotech, leaving it without the order accuracy or inventory control a larger combined business needed.
Implementation partner Unbound Systems deployed SYSPRO ERP together with eCommerce order management and custom configurators and CRM tools, giving the business one platform to run manufacturing, ordering and finance.
“We’ve tripled the size of the business without having to add more admin staff, which is a huge efficiency gain,” says Lee Brown, Chief Technical Officer at Aluminium Industries. “Orders are on time, accurate, and not getting lost in the system and SYSPRO has made that possible,” adds Jacob Kowalewski, General Manager at Unbound Systems – the move also improved cash flow and cut inventory levels.
