ANZ Staff Club is the not-for-profit social organisation for employees of ANZ – one of the largest banks in Australia and the largest in New Zealand – offering its roughly 11,000 members retail deals, holiday accommodation and social events. Selecting a system had to satisfy bank-specific compliance requirements; the club evaluated several products, including Oracle and Retail Express, before finding they lacked the required functionality at a suitable price.
ANZ Staff Club adopted HansaWorld’s products (via Enterprise, the predecessor to Standard ERP) in 2010, later upgrading to Standard ERP for wider functionality. The single integrated database replaced a set of smaller, disconnected systems that had previously required redundant data entry and manual exporting and importing just to analyse membership activity.
With everything now in one system, ANZ Staff Club can audit its internal processes directly and has eliminated the data-fragmentation risk that came with juggling multiple disconnected tools.
