B&R Enclosures, Australia’s largest manufacturer of electrical enclosures, switchboard systems and server racks, had outgrown its legacy system just as the 300-staff, family-owned business was planning international expansion.
B&R Enclosures switched off its old system on 23 December 2013 and went live with SYSPRO on 6 January 2014 without losing a single day of business, installing General Ledger, Sales Orders, Accounts Payable/Receivable, MRP, Bill of Materials, Work in Progress and Product Configurator modules.
“That would have been quite difficult with the old system, but it’s been relatively simple with SYSPRO,” says Tim Bridges, Director at B&R Enclosures, where the platform’s NZD currency functionality supported a new New Zealand subsidiary and gave the business real-time visibility and faster month-end reporting.
