Freightways, the New Zealand logistics group built up through more than 25 brand acquisitions across express package, business mail, document management and temperature-controlled freight, found itself running a different finance system – and a different chart of accounts – under almost every brand, slowing reporting and consolidation across the group.
The company engaged Fusion5 to standardise its finance function on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, migrating all 25-plus entities onto one platform with a single chart of accounts, and adding Workday Adaptive Planning to consolidate budgeting, forecasting and group-wide profit and loss reporting.
