The GJ Johnson Group, a privately-held group of Australian companies spanning utilities, construction and manufacturing, had one of its subsidiaries running on multiple third-party systems that required redundant data entry and tedious manual work just to produce analysis.
After evaluating alternatives including Attache and Pronto, the group chose HansaWorld’s Standard ERP (implemented via its predecessor, Enterprise), going live within seven months on an “80% ready, adapt as you go” basis rather than waiting for a fully tested rollout. The first company onto the system was Alcolizer, a supplier of blood alcohol measuring devices; the second was Kimberley Regional Service Providers (KRSP), which delivers maintenance and capital works to remote Indigenous communities in Western Australia with no reliable network connection, requiring an offline-capable mode that syncs data once staff reconnect.
The group now runs a fully integrated system across its subsidiaries instead of a patchwork of disconnected programs, with field staff in remote WA locations able to work offline and sync data automatically once back in range.
