Mulcahy Engineering, the 40-year-old Auckland metal manufacturer with 140 staff, was constrained by disparate legacy systems built up over 20 years – frequent crashes, siloed planning, poor traceability and excessive manual data entry stood between the business and its goal of doubling revenue within five years.
Mulcahy signed a NZ$1 million agreement with Epicor for an end-to-end digital manufacturing platform, giving the business capacity planning, job tracking and machine maintenance scheduling across the factory floor.
“Epicor’s deep manufacturing expertise gave us confidence we speak the same language,” says Kayne Mulcahy, Managing Director at Mulcahy Engineering.
