RLB Packaging was losing hours twice a day running back-order reports by hand, picking out line items and manually raising purchase orders for the roughly 80% of its catalogue that’s non-stocked.
Verde Group implemented its HAL Extensions for MYOB Greentree, automatically converting back-orders into purchase orders with intelligent consolidation to preferred suppliers, plus real-time tracking and alerts for overseas order delivery times.
“It is a huge time saver and it means we’ve been able to keep our team pretty lean. We’d probably have at least two people doing what one does,” says Steve Hazard, Finance and Operations Manager at RLB Packaging, where HAL now manages 80-90% of stock items.
