Suntory Oceania, one of the largest multi-beverage manufacturers in Australia and New Zealand with more than 1,500 employees, two manufacturing sites and five distribution centres, needed a modern digital foundation to support advanced manufacturing and supply chain operations as it launched as a standalone business in July 2025 – alongside a new carbon-neutral manufacturing and distribution facility at Swanbank, Queensland, the largest FMCG investment in Australia in the past decade.
Working with DXC Technology, Suntory Oceania implemented an integrated SAP S/4HANA and Extended Warehouse Management platform connecting manufacturing, warehousing, supply chain planning and customer operations at the Swanbank site, giving the business end-to-end control of its supply chain for the first time.
The platform was delivered in time for the July 2025 launch. In its first year, the Swanbank facility produced more than 252 million cans and bottles, lifted production by 36%, and supported the launch of 21 new products, with integrated planning and warehousing giving real-time visibility across the supply chain.
