Telstra was running three separate legacy ERP systems – a mix of Oracle and SAP ECC – across the business, each adding complexity and cost to its corporate finance and operations.
Working with Accenture, Telstra consolidated all three onto a single SAP S/4HANA private cloud edition platform on Azure, an internal program the telco calls “SAPphire.”
The program is on track to deliver more than $50 million in IT platform benefits by FY26, plus a recurring $9 million benefit every year after.
