Global network management services agreement aimed at saving costs and improving technology…
Air New Zealand and Gen-i, Telecom’s ICT business, have signed a new agreement that extends their existing partnership for the management of the airline’s telecommunications network services.
Under the new agreement, Gen-i will provide data and voice network services to Air NZ worldwide on a 24 hour a day, seven day a week basis across the airline’s 85 global and 69 domestic locations.
The contract includes the management of services delivered by a wide range of telecommunications and technology providers worldwide.
Gen-i says it aims to deliver a number of business benefits to Air NZ as a result of the deal, including cost savings, improved technology and service performance, and a telecommunications platform to meet future business requirements.
