Eagle Technology will host an array of leading vendors in networks, security, storage and infrastructure solutions at a one day event to be held at Auckland’s Alexandra Park Function Centre on February 25.
Eagle Technology CEO Gary Langford says the opportunity for the IT community to interact directly with such a range of providers is unique.
“We have organised for many of our business partners to participate in what, we hope, will become an annual Vendor Showcase,” Langford says.
“CIOs, IT Operations Managers and others responsible for the management of the IT environment in businesses of all sizes can have their questions answered directly in relation to their own challenges.”
Open from 10 am until 4pm, registration is available on the day, all day, although pre-registrations are encouraged.
Each participating vendor has a stand, and many will be involved in a range of seminars covering topics around security, storage, environmental management, networking and a raft of related services.
“The event has been dubbed ‘Talk and Chalk Day’ in reference to the focus being on one-on-one discussions between attendees and vendors,” says Langford.
“White-boards have been provided to all stands so that possible solutions can be sketched out. The enthusiasm from the vendors in support of the day has been fantastic. More than one vendor has commented that this is one of the very few opportunities they have to meet their customers in such a public way.”
