Burger King

Listed software company Diligent Board Member Services says it has signed a deal with the parent company of international fast food chain Burger King to use its web-based Diligent Boardbooks service…

Diligent’s president and CEO, Alex Sodi, said the Burger King Corporation deal was the latest endorsement of the quality of Diligent’s software, which is designed to simplify and centralise the management and delivery of board meeting materials.

“This is also a great sign that even during this global economic turmoil new companies are still pursuing board portals,” Sodi said.

“Companies are attracted to the significant cost savings and overall efficiencies that can be gained in assembling and distributing board materials as well as the ease and security of use for actual board members. This can cut the cost for a corporate secretary’s office by more than 50 percent.”

Diligent is based in New York and listed on the NZX in December last year.
