Ricoh Korax award

The company is the only Kofax partner in New Zealand to receive such high recognition…

Ricoh New Zealand, which specialises in office imaging equipment, production print solutions, document management systems and IT services, has been awarded the ultimate accolade from US business process software giant, Kofax. This week it was named a new Kofax Diamond Partner; one of only 13 such partners worldwide and, to the best of our knowledge, one of only three in all of Australasia. As the only Kofax Diamond Partner in the country, Ricoh New Zealand has a real point of difference to its competitors.

Diamond Partner status is by invitation only. It is based on booking more than US$500,000 of orders during the last fiscal year (ending 30 June 2014), plus significant investment in technical and sales training. It signals the Ricoh business solutions team’s significant technical depth and superior performance in the market.

The news comes after Ricoh Group was named Kofax Global Partner of the Year in March this year, in acknowledgement of its outstanding results and long-term partnership with the business process automation software company. At the announcement Ricoh New Zealand was singled out specifically for its depth of technical and consulting expertise, its significant sales across Australasia, its continued commitment to training, and for the innovative solutions it has designed for a number of customers.

Mike Pollok, Ricoh New Zealand’s managing director, said he is more than thrilled by the decision, saying that for Ricoh New Zealand to be recognised on its own merits “is exceptional”. .

“We live in the information age and whether it’s getting information into your business or getting it out, everyone wants to do it more efficiently. This is where Kofax comes into its own. Business efficiency is a bottom line for both Kofax and our Business Solutions team, and the award is the ultimate recognition,” he said.

This year Ricoh has invested in 19 additional business solutions staff and now has the largest team of Kofax-certified consultants in New Zealand.  It has also moved to new HQ in Auckland which embodies the changes that it has been undergoing as a company in recent years moving the business focus towards resilience and sustainability.

Pollok is immensely proud of the business solutions team and points out that the win provides flow-on benefits for Ricoh’s clients too because his team will now be able to access further expert-level training and workshops.
