The new solution will be introduced at the company’s New Zealand Cloud Forum later this month…

For the first time, the ERP and analytics mega-vendor’s entire set of cloud solutions – which support an organisation’s processes for managing money, serving customers, engaging and developing its people and working with suppliers – will be accessible to New Zealand businesses of all sizes in July.

SAP says its cloud offering “supports a hybrid approach”, by which it means that customers can mix and match cloud, on-premise and hosted applications. It also promises seamless integration with organisations’ existing SAP and non-SAP systems.

“New Zealand businesses are being transformed by the cloud at unprecedented velocity,” says Graeme Riley, managing director of SAP New Zealand. “To successfully compete in global markets, Kiwi businesses need systems that are up and running fast at a low cost of ownership, while enabling scalable and rapid innovation.”

In a media release, SAP said it offers a broad portfolio of cloud applications, with more than 29 million users in the cloud. It also claims experience in the world’s largest cloud implementations and an unparalleled user experience. “The solutions reflect SAP’s industry expertise from more than 238,000 SAP customers in 191 countries across 25 industries”.

The mix and match approach will help New Zealand businesses to adopt cloud services at their own pace and to suit their own specific needs and existing environments. SAP believes that its solutions will “help New Zealand organisations of all sizes compete better”.

The cloud offerings will be launched at the SAP New Zealand Cloud Forum in Auckland on 23 July and Wellington on 26 July. SAP said those who attend the launch will be able to explore the next wave of cloud solutions that are helping organisations like theirs to manage the complexities of customer, supplier, employee and financial expectations. Attendees will also learn how consumers are evaluating, seeking help, buying and providing feedback in new and innovative ways. And they will hear the latest industry trends and strategies about how cloud is being evaluated and adopted in organisations.
