Jobs in the Cloud

Microsoft New Zealand is looking for ten new employees as business grows…

The vendor said the new roles are across its cloud team as it needs more manpower to meet increased demand for Azure and Dynamics CRM services.

Frazer Scott, Marketing & Operations Director for Microsoft New Zealand said cloud demand has exceeded all forecasts in recent years. “Kiwi companies are rapidly embracing the cloud [which has] driven triple digit growth across our cloud businesses year after year.”

Microsoft, he said, is the only vendor to enjoy leadership positioning in all four of Gartner’s Magic Quadrants for Cloud: Cloud Infrastructure as a Service, Server Virtualisation, Enterprise Application Platform as a Service and Public Cloud Storage Services.

The roles up for grabs at the company include cloud and data solution architects and data platform specialist roles for Azure, and a Technology Solution Professionals role responsible for Dynamics CRM.

Microsoft NZ HR Manager, Pia Dalum said the company may need to fill some technical roles internally and indeed globally, but encouraged Kiwis from outside the company to apply.
