Promapp named ‘Hot Vendor’ in Business Process Management

A stonking year for Auckland-HQ’d BPM vendor continues…

On top of a continuous string of new deals announced throughout 2017, it now reports that is was named one of the five Hot Vendors in Business Process Management.

That comes courtesy of a relatively obscure research company – Aragon Research – the chops of which are somewhat substantiated by its base in Silicon Valley.

Recent deals closed by Promapp, which provides a cloud BPM solution, include Medifab (NZ), Lantec (NZ), City of Joondalup (Aus), Affinity Education Group (Aus), Credit Union South (NZ), Geographe Enterprises (Aus) and Fraser Coast Regional Council. In fact, Promapp claims some 61 Australian councils as clients – and the company, which has received funding from Callaghan Innovation, also has operations and some successes in North America.

Authored by analyst Jim Sinur, the Aragon Research report highlights providers with interesting, cutting-edge products, services and technology.

The report notes that each of the five vendors highlighted in the report has a unique approach to supporting the BPM needs of organisations.

“Promapp’s secret sauce is its ability to be easy enough for beginners and business teams to be successful pretty quickly,” the Aragon Research report notes. “It is far more easy to use than others we have seen to date. The collaborative nature is a key feature, along with the ability to manage change and process variants.”

According to the report, Promapp enables complete change and improvement management and tracking through its ability to embed processes that are searchable in SharePoint, and manage process variations by region or product/service type.

“We are very excited that Aragon Research has selected Promapp as one of its Hot Vendors in Business Process Management 2017,” said Promapp CEO Ivan Seselj in a statement. “As the report accurately notes, the demand for operational efficiency and effectiveness is stronger than ever.”

Seselj added that most organisations recognise that business process improvement requires sustained momentum. “Lengthy procedure manuals and Word documents no longer work. Increased process management discipline and new tools are being introduced in organisations of all sizes and across all vertical markets to enable teams to collaborate, innovate, and find ways to boost productivity and effectiveness.”

That, he said is fueling Promapp global growth; earlier this year, it was ranked as one of the fastest growing technology companies in New Zealand on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific.
